About Me

I grew up in Bellingham, WA, studied Jazz Performance at Western Washington University, then spent 5 years teaching English on the JET Program in Japan. When I returned home I was unsure as to what exactly I wanted to do with my life. After traveling around the States a bit to catch up with old friends and family and figure out which direction suited me best, I came back to Bellingham to pursue a career in web development. My good friend and worldwide traveling companion John Meloy (www.johnnydanger.net) became my mentor and put me through a sort of web design "boot camp". We started at square one (basic HTML, "hello world", etc.), and within a few months I was building websites for clients.
